Medications & Medical Supplies

The Rural Amazonian Health Initiative depends on donated medical supplies from many sources, including individuals, hospitals, medical clinics, equipment vendors, medical drug and supply houses, physician offices, dental offices, pharmacies, nursing homes, manufacturers and other medical health care organizations.

We accept almost anything, but the most needed items are:

  • Children's Multivitamins
  • Adult Multivitamins
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Eye Glasses (Reading Glasses)
  • Pain Medications (Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, Aspirin)
  • Bandages (All sizes)
  • Dental Materials
  • Anti-Parasitic Medications
  • Antibiotics
  • Anti-Fungal Medications
  • Anti-Bacterial/Fungal Creams

If you are donating medications, please make sure that medications are still in their original unopened containers, preferably not past their expiration dates, and still in good condition.  If you wouldn't use it, we wouldn't want any of our patients to use them either.

Can We Pick Up Donated Equipment, Medications, and/or Supplies?

Currently, we are able to arrange direct pickups for bulk medical supplies and medical equipment donations around the Indianapolis, IN area and in most of Southern Ohio.  These pickups are at no cost to donors, and we will work with you to schedule them!

However, just because we can’t pick up from areas further out, doesn't mean it’s expensive or impossible for us to coordinate receiving your donated medical supplies. If you have questions, supplies, or medications that you would like to donate to our ministry, contact us via phone or email by clicking here.

We appreciate all of your donations and support, and look forward to working with those who want to get more involved in our operations.
